Cookies & Tracking Policy

This Cookie & Tracking Policy explains how MERAKI HR SRL ("Platform", "LIMEN", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you access the LIMEN website and applications.

This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow websites to function properly, remember user preferences, analyze traffic, improve performance, and deliver relevant advertising. Similar technologies include tracking pixels, scripts, and local storage technologies.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

Essential for the Platform to function — they enable account login, secure authentication, session management, fraud prevention, payment processing. These cookies do not require consent under EU law. Examples: session cookies, authentication tokens, security cookies, and the cookie-consent record itself (`limen.consent.v1` in localStorage).

2.2 Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, both operated by Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (EU/EEA processing). Google Tag Manager manages the deployment and firing of all tracking scripts on the Platform, including analytics and advertising tags. Google Analytics collects anonymized interaction data including pages visited, session duration, device type, and approximate geographic location. IP anonymization is enabled. For EU users, all tags are activated only after explicit consent is obtained via the cookie consent mechanism. No tracking scripts fire before consent.

The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), captured through the in-page cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or the Google Analytics Opt-out Tool.

2.3 Marketing & Advertising Cookies

We use:

  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel

These technologies may track visits, measure advertising effectiveness, and enable remarketing campaigns. Meta Pixel may collect device identifiers, browsing activity, and interaction data. For EU users, marketing cookies are activated only after explicit consent via the in-page cookie banner, and no pixel events fire before consent is granted. Consent may be withdrawn at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

2.4 Payment & Transaction Cookies

If you purchase services, Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies to prevent fraud, process payments securely, and detect suspicious activity. Stripe operates as an independent data processor under its own privacy policy.

2.5 Infrastructure & Cloud Services

We use third-party infrastructure services that may place essential technical cookies necessary for system functionality and security: Lovable Technologies (development infrastructure), GitHub Inc. (code delivery infrastructure), HubSpot Inc. (form processing and CRM), Google Drive / OneDrive (operational storage). Where any of these providers change, this section will be updated within 30 days.

2.6 AI-Assisted Processing

Certain LIMEN features use AI language model providers to process user-submitted form data and generate structured outputs. This processing occurs server-side and does not involve additional cookies placed on your device. See our AI Transparency Policy for full details.

3. How We Obtain Consent (EU Users)

For users located in the European Union / EEA, all non-essential cookies are blocked by default until you grant consent through our cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2 so that Google tags receive your consent state and adjust behavior accordingly: with analytics consent denied, no analytics hits are sent; with marketing consent denied, no ad-storage cookies are written and no remarketing signal is sent. Your choice is stored locally on your device and re-requested every 12 months.

Under applicable US privacy laws (including California privacy laws), users may request disclosure of tracking technologies used, request deletion of personal information collected, and opt out of certain data uses. LIMEN does not sell personal information.

You can manage cookies by using the cookie banner controls or the Cookie settings link in the site footer, by adjusting browser settings, or by deleting cookies manually from your browser. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent proper functioning of the Platform.

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. At this time, LIMEN does not respond differently to DNT signals, as no universal standard exists. Use the in-page cookie controls instead.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. Where changes materially affect how tracking technologies are used, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via the cookie consent banner or email before the change takes effect.
