PAYMENTS, SUBSCRIPTIONS & REFUND POLICY

This Payments, Subscriptions & Refund Policy ("Policy") governs purchases made through the LIMEN website and applications ("Platform", "LIMEN", "LIMEN Brand", "LIMEN Energy", "LIMEN Align", "LIMEN Threshold"), operated by:

By purchasing access to the Platform, you agree to this Policy.
1. Pricing & Currency
All prices are clearly displayed before purchase. Prices may be shown:
  • In EUR or other currencies depending on location
  • Inclusive or exclusive of VAT where applicable
For EU consumers, VAT is applied in accordance with EU VAT OSS rules. MERAKI HR SRL reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect existing paid subscription periods.
2. Subscription Model
Certain LIMEN services (including LIMEN Energy and LIMEN Align) may be offered as:
  • Monthly subscriptions
  • Bi-annual subscriptions (every 6 months)
  • Annual subscriptions
  • One-time digital purchases (if applicable)
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal. The renewal date and billing frequency are clearly displayed at checkout.
Please also note the following:
  • Bi-annual and annual subscriptions are billed in advance
  • In the event of service discontinuation from LIMEN's side, unused portions of any prepaid subscription period will be refunded pro-rata.
2.1 Founding Member Subscriptions
A limited number of users ("Founding Members") were granted access to LIMEN Energy under a special founding offer available for a defined period during the platform's initial launch phase.
Founding Members are entitled to the following pricing commitment:
  • Year 1: Access to LIMEN Energy Premium Plus at the monthly equivalent of €5.99, billed annually (€71.88/year).
  • Year 2 onwards: Access to LIMEN Energy Premium Plus at the monthly equivalent of €11.99, billed annually (€125.90/year — or the bi-annual equivalent if applicable), locked for the lifetime of their active subscription.
These rates will not increase for Founding Members for as long as their subscription remains active and uninterrupted.
Important conditions:
  • The locked rate applies only to continuous, uninterrupted subscriptions. If a Founding Member cancels and later resubscribes, the standard pricing in effect at the time of resubscription will apply
  • The Founding Member rate is personal and non-transferable
  • MERAKI HR SRL reserves the right to discontinue the Founding Member programme for new entrants at any time, without affecting the rights of existing Founding Members
Founding Members will receive written confirmation of their status and pricing commitment at the time of subscription. This confirmation, together with this Policy, constitutes the full record of the pricing agreement.
Please also note the following:
  • Bi-annual and annual subscriptions are billed in advance
  • In the event of service discontinuation from LIMEN's side, unused portions of any prepaid subscription period will be refunded pro-rata.
2.2 Subscription Cancellation — Monthly and Annual
If you purchase a monthly or annual subscription and cancel before the end of the current billing period:
  • Your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period (monthly or annual, as applicable)
  • No refund is issued for the remaining unused portion of the current billing period, except where required by mandatory consumer protection law applicable in your jurisdiction
  • Cancellation prevents automatic renewal at the next billing cycle
  • You will not be charged again after the current period ends
For EU consumers: the right of withdrawal under §4 applies within 14 days of purchase only. Once the 14-day withdrawal period has expired and digital content has been accessed, no partial refund obligation arises under these Terms for either monthly or annual subscriptions. Where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides additional rights, those rights are not excluded.
For UK consumers: the same conditions apply as for EU consumers above, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
For US and international consumers: both monthly and annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the 14-day period described in §4 has passed, except in cases of technical malfunction, duplicate billing, or proven billing error as described in §6.
3. Automatic Renewal
By subscribing, you authorize MERAKI HR SRL (and/or its payment processor) to charge the recurring subscription fee automatically at each billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
  • Your account settings
  • The relevant app store (if purchased via Apple App Store or Google Play)
Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund completed billing periods unless required by law.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Full details of Stripe's data processing practices are available at stripe.com/privacy.
4. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Rule)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.
Free trial periods and the right of withdrawal: The 14-day withdrawal period runs from the date of purchase, not from the end of any free trial. If you are on a free trial, your withdrawal window is active simultaneously. This means:
  • If you cancel during a free trial and within 14 days of purchase, and have not accessed paid features beyond the trial scope, you may withdraw without charge
  • If your free trial extends beyond 14 days from the date of purchase, the withdrawal right expires before the trial ends — at day 14 from purchase
Immediate access and loss of withdrawal right: If you request immediate access to digital content or subscription services during the 14-day withdrawal period, and:
  • You expressly consent to immediate performance, and
  • You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content is accessed,
then the right of withdrawal no longer applies once access begins. This consent mechanism is implemented during checkout.
If withdrawal applies and no paid digital content has been accessed, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting limen@merakihr.ro.
5. Digital Content Policy
LIMEN provides digital reflective tools and structured frameworks. Once digital access is granted and used, refunds may not be available except where required by applicable consumer law. This applies to:
  • Active subscription periods
  • Downloadable digital materials
  • Access to paid features
6. US & International Refund Policy
For users outside the European Union:
Refunds are generally not provided for:
  • Partial subscription periods
  • Unused time
  • Change of mind
  • Personal dissatisfaction with reflective outcomes
However, refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of MERAKI HR SRL in cases of:
  • Technical malfunction preventing access
  • Duplicate billing
  • Proven billing error
Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
7. App Store Purchases
If you purchase a subscription through:
  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store
Billing and refunds are managed directly by the respective platform. Users must manage subscriptions and refund requests through the relevant app store account. MERAKI HR SRL does not control third-party store refund decisions.
8. Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
  • Access to paid features may be suspended
  • We may retry billing within a reasonable period
  • Continued non-payment may result in account suspension or termination
9. Free Trials (If Applicable)
If free trials are offered:
  • Duration will be clearly stated
  • Payment method may be required
  • Subscription automatically converts to paid unless cancelled before trial ends
Users are responsible for cancelling before trial expiration.
10. Physical Products – LIMEN Threshold Cards
LIMEN Threshold cards may be offered as physical products shipped to customers.
All purchases of physical products are subject to the following conditions.
10.1 Order Processing
Orders are processed within a reasonable timeframe after payment confirmation. Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order volume, and shipping destination. Estimated shipping times are provided for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed.
10.2 Shipping
LIMEN Threshold products may be shipped internationally. Shipping costs, delivery estimates, and available shipping methods will be displayed during checkout. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. MERAKI HR SRL is not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect addresses.
For international orders, customers may be responsible for:
  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • Local handling fees
These charges are determined by the destination country and are outside the control of MERAKI HR SRL.
10.3 Risk of Loss During Transport
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the package has been delivered to the shipping carrier.
However, if a product arrives visibly damaged due to transport, customers should contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence of the damaged packaging and product.
We will assess the situation and may offer:
  • Replacement shipment
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund
at our reasonable discretion.
10.4 Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Consumers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from a physical product purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without providing a reason. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify us at limen@merakihr.ro within 14 days of delivery.
Products must be returned:
  • Unused
  • In original packaging
  • In resalable condition
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect. Refunds will be issued after the returned product is received and inspected.
10.5 Damaged or Incorrect Products
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and order information.
If verified, we will offer:
  • Replacement shipment
and/or
  • Full refund
10.6 Non-Returnable Items
Returned items may not be accepted if:
  • The product shows signs of use
  • The packaging is significantly damaged
  • The product is incomplete
These conditions help maintain product quality for all customers.
10.7 Return Shipping
Unless the product is defective or incorrect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. The buyer is responsible for organising and covering all return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked shipping service. MERAKI HR SRL is not responsible for packages lost during return transit.
10.8 Refunds
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product, provided it meets the return conditions (unused, original packaging, all seals intact and undamaged). Receipt of a valid shipping tracking number may be accepted as proof of return dispatch.
10.9 UK Consumers
10.9.1 Right to Cancel — Physical Products
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the physical product, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, notify us within 14 days of delivery at: limen@merakihr.ro
The product must be returned:
  • Unused
  • In its original packaging
  • With all seals intact and undamaged
  • In fully resalable condition
Products with broken seals, signs of use, or damaged packaging will not be accepted for return. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a tracked service. MERAKI HR SRL accepts no responsibility for packages lost during return transit. Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned product and confirming it meets the above conditions.
10.9.2 Right to Cancel — Digital Products & Subscriptions
If you purchase a digital product or subscription and request immediate access, you expressly acknowledge that your right to cancel ends once the digital content has been accessed, in accordance with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If digital content has not been accessed, you may request a cancellation and full refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting limen@merakihr.ro.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under UK law.
11. Taxes
Users are responsible for any applicable local taxes outside the European Union unless otherwise specified at checkout.
12. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you believe a billing error occurred, you agree to contact limen@merakihr.ro before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension.
13. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy periodically. Where changes materially affect pricing, refund rights, or subscription terms, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email before the change takes effect. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of non-material changes.
14. Payment Processor Notice
Payments are processed exclusively by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland. MERAKI HR SRL does not store payment card details. In the event of a payment-related incident originating with Stripe, users may contact Stripe directly at stripe.com/contact or contact limen@merakihr.ro for assistance.
MERAKI HR SRL reserves the right to change payment processors at any time. Users will be notified of any change to payment processing arrangements at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Right of Withdrawal — Standard Withdrawal Form
Before You Submit
This form is for physical product returns only (LIMEN Threshold card editions). For digital products and subscriptions, please contact us directly at limen@merakihr.ro before submitting.
Your 14-Day Window
Your withdrawal period begins on the day you physically receive your package. You must submit this form before the 14-day period expires. The date of submission is your legal notification date and is recorded automatically.
Return Conditions
Before submitting, please confirm that your product meets all of the following conditions:
  • The product is unused
  • All seals are intact and undamaged
  • The product is in its original packaging
  • The packaging itself is undamaged and in resalable condition
Products that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted for return and will be sent back to you at your cost.
Return Shipping
Return shipping is organised and paid by the buyer. After submitting this form, we will contact you within 48 hours with the return address. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service. MERAKI HR SRL accepts no liability for packages lost during return transit.
Refund Timeline
Your refund will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned product and confirming it meets the return conditions above. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
